4 CORNERS

there is a place in the us where it is possible to be at 4 places at a time. the 4 corners is the point between the States of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. and besides my now home California, these are the States we drove through on this pretty darn good road trip we did in May. was it may? is it September already? landscapes change fast when you are on the road in the US, one minute you are swimming in a river and the other walking on the snow. the greatest thing happened then, when driving in a deserted road, 3 stunning savage black horses were galloping along the way, free.

and that was this time's road trip along the south-west of the United States of America. a dream

N I G H T

I don't remember how this drink was called, but besides being very good tasting it had a pretty serious name. don't remember either -excuse my memory, and that goes forever- which fruits were in it, but some local stuff and some love was put into this pink beverage. that night we ate pizza for dinner and slept tight in a two queen beds bedroom at the only motel in town that had vacant rooms. why can't we just find rooms wherever we go to without trouble? this was still in Utah, btw; and it was all abt to end

horseback riding picture galore, couldn't choose just one photo of my beloved favorite cowboy. galoping is an exhilarating sensation. so exciting, it's like you're flying in outer space. our outfits were great for the date, I must say. Lucheese cowboy boots and Stetson cowboy hats are mandatory outfits in our americana journeys. jeans, scarfs and plaids shirts and flannels are also handy. plus some working apparel read Carhartt.

Utah was one of our last stops while road trippin' through the south-west. company was kept with Chayanne, every brown horse I encounter is always called like the singer...and mine the black one was called something with the word night in it. pretty obvious

TAOS

the south-west US road trip brought us to Taos, a little town in New Mexico with an adjacent ancient village called Pueblo made out of adobe. after the touristy visit, we went to the random gipsy luna-moving-park. getho as it gets, people watching was like a risque sport..at daylight tho, Taos is great and the bridge to leave the city even more. looking out to a Canyon and little artisanal fair full of navajo leather goods and jewelry. at the other side of the bridge, amazing hippie underground houses full of glass windows and made out of recycled plastics and I am sure other thingys. I slept with the Sun

how happy I am here in Colorado hello line. that was my first time in Colorful Colorado, such a pleasent surprise after driving through desert, and desert, and brownish desert roads...all of a sudden everything was big and green, smelling of water and nature and fauna and red little houses like Heidi's of Pedro and Heidi. now I am visiting the State again, this time further North. not hot springs here, but you know how pretty the lakes are and how comfortable my new nikes are if you're following me on Twitter. leaving Vail in Colorado for more of a bitching place now, I mean beach-ing. and tropical

Fort Sumner is the town were Billy the Kid was buried. it is also a common roadtrippin' pass by town, famous for the Dairy Queen knock-off. Dairyland is only better than the real deal. try the green chili. and order some milk afterwards cos it's gonna burn. there are also horses, car washes, motels and beautiful sunsets

totally worth getting a little bit out of the way for this one
