miu miu fall 2011 campaign by Bruce Weber

Hailee Steinfeld. she's a real beauty and a great actress. I loved her work in True Grit. she shared screen with amazing Matt Damon and all time fave and icon Jeff Bridges and yet, in her first feature, she manages to outshine above everyone else in the cast and bring to the big screen a real big deal of woman. Miucca never fails in her choices and we all are extremely happy to see this teenage girl as the image of Miu Miu for next Fall. and the glitter, oh the glitter!
the preview was a good start, but these pictures are much better than anticipated. first 2 are my favorites.

Bambi Nothwood-Blyth for 10 Magazine SS 2011

last summer I spent a week in a desert resort in Desert Springs. like Vegas but smaller, pools, water showers, golf courses and amazing sunrises and sunsets. I realize my luggage was wrong, once again I find myself in trouble dressing accordingly to the environment but nice and true-to-my-style /whatever that is/ . please Bambi stylist, tell me you dress like you dressed her when you're on vacation in the desert and you play ping-pong at sunset and walk around joshua trees and rocks at sunrise

it doesn't look like Bambi is having a good time, but she looks pretty and classy. maybe she is secretly wishing she has a neon bikini on and loud pop music is playing

or maybe she is so sucked by blogs, facebook and twitter that no energy reminds in her to actually socialize or go have pizza w/ pals. and yes, to minimize the risk for my fb page to become too much of a cirque, this is my @lamardemona_, where I can say it all

how cool are these girls dressed by Nicoletta Santoro. I love how Lindsey Wixson & Hailey Clauson have been captured by Willy Vanderperre (same that shot the Jil Sander and Proenza Schouler campaigns) for Vogue China's March 2011 issue. wait, are we almost in March already? lets stay here for a while, dressing Prada and Rodarte in Child in Time. wearing socks and skirts and platforms and skates
I have been at a bar right next to the Kodak Theater watching the Oscars and I've fallen in love with Cate Blanchett's Givenchy Couture dress. omg. nice that I could hear Anne singing from almost next door and crowd clapping hands. and nice that Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress, she was amazing in Black Swan and I couldn't take any more King's Speech. I guess I'll have to go watch it tomorrow

last week the Hunter & Gatti team flew to Los Angeles to shoot the spring campaign for Qué me pongo by Mango with some fashion bloggers such as Natalie, Dylana, Rumi, Julie and Jade. The city was shinning with a summer sun in the middle of January and everyone was happy
the new campaign won't be out until March, so keep yourself posted @ the Mango blog

L O W B O Y

I read METAL from start to end some weeks ago. faves Katie Eary, Darya Kurovska and Christian Schoeler were featured. I enjoy so much Schoeler's paintings since his beginnings...I found out about High Places -and went to see them in LA; I tryed Mary's backyard but no one was at home (or that wasn't the actual home...)- and Lowboy. it must be the convination of both, Javier Giner, writer of the John Wray. La emoción de lo único article and interview for Metal and John Wray's new book Lowboy. last week Mireia read the same peace, and she has the book already on her hands. I am waiting for mine
